Off line syncing just hangs then times out

Off line syncing just hangs then times out

I am a premium customer how now can not sync music to listen to offline on my iPhone. I am reluctant to delete and reinstall the app as I don't want to lose my existing offline playlists. All attempts to sync tracks to offline lead to spotify hanging before timing out. A response would be appreciated

Did you try following all of the steps outlined in the iOS Troubleshooting Guide including the clean reinstall? 

I know it is a real pain, but it might help.

Hi Dethers - Sorry to hear you're having a bit of trouble. Can you confirm exactly which Spotify app version you have installed?

 

A clean reinstallation might be necessary to ensure you're on the latest update. 

I'm running the 0.6.0.181 app with the spotify core 0.7.1.6554 Thanks for response so far

I just noticed that this is in the Android section when you say you're using an iPhone 😉

 

I'll ask someone to move it over to the iOS section 🙂

 

Do you have more than 3,333 tracks downloaded to your device? That is the maximum number of tracks that can be downloaded to each offline device 🙂

No not nearly at that level of tunes synced. I tried unstarring existing playlists to generate more space but no luck. The phone try's to sync and simply hangs before timing out. Appreciate a move to iPhone section, ta
