Offline Mode Expired - can't fix this

Offline Mode Expired - can't fix this

Earlier this week I received a message window saying that my offline mode had expired.

I investigated the message and the solution seemed simple: go online to allow Spotify to verify that I still had a premium account and to allow Spotify to record the number of times I had played each song offline for licensing royalty purposes.

So I went online.

The next day, I'm listening to my music offline in the car and I get the same message.

So I investigate further. Some users get this message when they have more than three devices synced to an account. That's not my case.

I've updated Spotify on my phone, which is the only device using the app. I've deleted and clean reinstalled Spotify on my phone. I've updated my iOS. I've logged into Spotify from my desktop and deleted all of my synched devices (which showed up as two, even though I only should have one). And I'm still getting the same message.

I've combed the internet for troubleshooting suggestions but I can't find any other solutions to try.

Has anyone else run into this problem? What was your solution?

Same issue here, very annoying. Tried to listen to some downloaded content in flight mode on a plane. I managed to listen about 5 songs and then got the error, that I needed to go online in order to listen more songs. Of course when I landed and went online, the problem was solved, but for another 5 songs on the next flight. Same thing now happens every time I go offline on all devices. This is really frustrating as my favorite feature is to be able to listen to music during flights. 5 hour flight with no music, while I have paid for the premium account? Not ok...

Have tried to find solutions online to fix it, nothing has helped so far.
