One specific artist has no songs available on iOS

One specific artist has no songs available on iOS

On my iOS App (SE 2020) is one specific artist where all songs of this artist are not shown. The albums are shown, but all empty. In my case it's the artist "Bilderbuch". The problem appears only on my phone. On Desktop (same account) everything is fine.

I already tried:
- Logout and Login
- Reinstalling the app
- Clearing the cache
- Removing all downloads

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

 

We've looked for the artists you mentioned (with the name you kindly provided), but we could not replicate this behavior. In that sense, kudos for all the troubleshooting you've tried so far. You can try the following:

  • Performing a clean reinstall. Clean reinstalling the app can solve most common issues, as it includes some additional steps. You can find the steps to do it here.
  • If you use any cache-clearing or task-killing apps, we'd suggest you set Spotify as an exception for those. Take into account that these apps can affect the performance of the app.

If the above doesn't do the trick, then we'd like to gather some additional info. Please send us the following:

  • The exact Spotify version you're running on your device.
  • The link to the artist profile. You can follow these steps to share it.
  • The exact OS of your mobile device.
  • Does this happen if you open your account on a different mobile device? You can ask for the mobile device of a relative or a friend to open your account there and check.
