Playback not pausing during calls

My Question or Issue

Whenever I pick up a call, Spotify playback does not pause the song and the music merges with the call making it impossible to manage or hear what's going on. Not sure why this is happening after the latest spotify update.

I've reinstalled spotify, restarted my computer and the problem still persists. It seems to be an issue in android as well but no resolution for iOS.
