Plays partial songs then goes to next song

My spotify will play fine for an hour then all of a sudden the album covers stop showing and it will only play the 1st 30 seconds or so of a song & then go to the next song & it continues to do this getting shorter with each song until eventually it won't play any songs.

Weird, what version of the app and iOS are you using? How much free storage space is there on the device?

I've downloaded the newest version of spotify & I haven't done the latest iOS update yet.

Mine does the same thing.

Samsung Galaxy 4 8, wifi only, rooted and running the stock OS KitKat 4.4.2

I have similar problem with only playing 30 second tracks. Problem is it’s not just Spotify, it does it on any music, Pandora, iTunes, slacker radio, and even YouTube videos. They all only play 30 seconds. It’s apparently also happening on my brand new iPhone 10 as well as my 6. Really irritating!!
