Previously synced local files won’t sync to new iPhone 8. All files present in same folder on Mac.

Yeah so I had a bunch of local files synced to my old iPhone 6 and I synced them by dragging them from local files on my Mac desktop to playlists in the desktop version of Spotify. But the playlists on my new iPhone 8 do not even display those tracks in a track list.

anyone know how I can get my phone Spotify app to recognize these files and download them?
