Private session on the iphone app

Private session on the iphone app

I just downloaded the new ios software and now I cannot access the "settings" option on the sidebar, so I cannot turn on the Private setting. The bar where it shows what song is playing is blocking it, and I can't make it go away without deleting the app and then re-installing every time I want to turn private on. Is anyone else having this problem? I am going to to have to delete Spotify if this persists -- I listen to all my music on private!

This is a known issue which has been reported to the Spotify team. For me I am able to clear the now playing bar by force closing the app, its still annoying but at least its know a reinstall!

Unfortunately when I force close the app, the now playing bar doesn't go away. Any other ways for making that happen?

I can just about (and quite skillfully) tap the settings option on my 4S still even though it is behind the play bar (there is a tiny gap).

Unfortunately the only other thing I can think of is:
- Turning your phone off and on again?
- Reinstalling the app

Neither of which are even close to "easy" workarounds.

Ah I found the tiny gap. I can make that work for a little while, as long as they deal with this problem soon! Thanks for the help.
