My son have the Link but have to Create sccount, why?

Great to hear you're trying to setup your Family Plan account. I'll try to give you a hand so let's get started. Below are the instructions on inviting a family member into your plan, taken from the help docs.

INVITE A MEMBER

Note: Members of a Premium for Family subscription must reside at the same address.

  1. Go to your account page.
  2. Click Premium for Family in the menu on the left.
  3. Select an Empty slot.
  4. Click INVITE WITH LINK or enter the Spotify email address of the person you want to invite and click SEND INVITE.

A confirmation email will be sent when a new member is successfully added.

I would try clearing the browser cache of the web browser they're using in case there's residual information causing the invite link to not work. Alternatively, they could also try using Private Browsing or Incognito Mode as well.

 

Let me know if they're still having trouble after trying the above, and list the exact steps they're taking to try to signup for your Family Plan. That way I can help with the next steps. 🙂

Awesome to hear you guys are getting Spotify Family setup. It sounds like you have the link, but might need a bit of help for the next steps. Don't worry - I'll try to help you out with that!

 

When you sign up for Spotify Family, the account you use to sign up becomes the master or administrator account for Spotify Family. From this account, you can send other family members the invite link via email or text messaging. Spotify Family lets you have up to 5 additional family members join, in addition to the main account.

 

Once a family member receives the invite, all they have to do is create their own Spotify Account using their own email, username, and password. They need to make their own accounts to keep their music listening separated, since Spotify generates awesome playlists based on each accounts' listening history. It's actually really awesome, since each family member will be able to discover a lot of music this way.

I sent my husband and son a family premium invite but they say to pay or he already has a acct which he doesn't

I had premium for family for 3 months. Besides myself as administrator my 2 kids were using Spotify with our family account .  Since a week they asked me why Spotify doesn't work anymore. I found out what went wrong.  A couples of weeks ago I received a new credit card and after that Spotify sent me some mails because the payment for renewal blocked. But these mails,arrived in the SPAM filter, so I didn't see them, only when my kids alerted me.. Via one of the mails I entered on the spotify log in page the new datas of my new credit card. On the account page I can see that I am registred as premium for family and next payment will be the 24 of November. But Spotify doesn't work on the kids' smartphones and on the Premium for family page I can't see anything ... this page is blank (act. black).  Who can help me.  My kids are furious about it.

I have sent multiple invites to my husband but he has not received any emails. Please advise.
