for almost 3-4 weeks there has been a problem with syncing new track and playlists. I've tried with connecting my iPhone to WiFi aswell. Over 3G I've synced 10 songs over the last 3-4 weeks. i upgraded to the new version but still aint working. this is frustrating so can some one fix this so i can have some value for my money that i pay for listening to music.
Kind Regards
Hey N4der, welcome to the Community.
What's happening when you try to sync a playlist? Is the sync simply stopping at 1 out of 100 synced (for example)?
After connecting your iPhone to the same WiFi network as your computer, does it show under Devices on Spotify on your computer? If so, how much free space is shown in the bar at the top? We'd recommend 500MB for syncing - and a lot more if you're syncing a lot of tracks.
Also, how many tracks have you already synced to those devices? There's a 3,333 track limit per device.
Hey Adam
i tried for the fiirst time to sync when both devices is connected to the same WIFI and it's working. but i have only 0.43gb free space and I dont know what that means. I only have like 700 songs on my playlists. When it's syncing now it stops in between and restarts when i delete some songs or uncheck a playlist to sync.
Still doesnt work to sync over 3G on my iphone and it wasnt like that before.
plz help me solve this
????????????
It looks like you need to free up some space on your iphone. Before you do that, uninstall and reinstall spotify as this will clear the cached music then check that you have at least 500MB free before trying to synch music. If you're low on space, try turning down the quality setting in the iphone app.
I just got Spotify premium today and i tried to sync my starred items onto my iphone 4s. It was allowing me to do so on my laptop, so i started syncing it using my desktop. I watched the bar increase as the songs were being added, and once it was close to done(adding about 1000 songs), it started downloading 1 out of 315. That concerned me because I was waiting so long for the songs to sync then that happened. When it showed that it had all been synced, I went "offline" to make sure it did what it claimed to do, and all of the song titles were gray. Now I have no space on my phone because I'm supposed to have all this music for when it's offline, but in reality I have nothing.
Spotify won't launch on IOS when only 3G (no wifi) is available.
I have Spotify (3.7.0.1100) with Premium account installed on IOS (7.1.2 11D257). The problem is that whenever the phone is on Carrier network (3G) it WONT launch. It starts but immediately dies, with no message or explaination. However, if I launch it when the phone is using a wifi network then it works fine. I believe this is a bug because it used to work weeks ago.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled Spotify but this doesn't fix it.
I've also gone through all the Settings in Spotify that look like they might have some affect on this problem, but to no avail.
Unless resolved, Spotify isn't useful to me in this current arrangement.
Can someone please verify that its not a bug. I'm about to cancel my subscription.
PS. I think this community forum stuff is a very poor way to do Customer Service - especially for a PREMIUM/PAID service.
