Problems with chromecast audio

Hi,
I am using Spotify on iOS, latest version. Since few days Spotify needs long time to see my chromecast audios in the house.
It needs to play music for about 2 minutes on my phone to see the cc audio and list it in the device List. Now tested the cast-functionality with google play music- there everything works fine. Cast-devices are recognized directly after opening the app.
Can somebody help? Thx

With latest version I mean iOS and the spotify app. I use an ipad4 and an iphone6. Got the problem on both devices.

On the ipad I already deleted the spotify app as shown in the related steps and reinstalled it - with no success.

I didn't update the chromecasts (think they get updated by google, as I know, an update forced by the user is not possible).

Could it be that there can be problems by using two different ways to stream to clients? I'm using mostly chromecasts (5), except two devices that have the "spotify connect" function I am using (Raumfeld One S and one Amazon echo dot).

 

As I am writing this, on my iphone all devices are shown (fresh start of the app). But on the ipad only one CC-device appears.

 

The Problem only exists with the chromecasts, the "spotify connect"-devices are always available.

To clarify about your 'latest version', do you mean that you have the latest version of iOS? We'd recommend checking that you also have the latest version of the app by following these steps.

 

Just to check, did this start happening after an update on either your Chromecast or your device? 

 

If you could also let us know the exact model of your device, that'd be great.
