Quick Scrolling

Quick Scrolling

Is there a way to quickly scroll to the bottom of my 700 song-long playlist?

Everytime I want to get to my recently added songs, I have to stroke my screen like some sort of dog for atleast 20 seconds.

Hey @kian1234, welcome to the Community.

Hope you're doing great!

Currently there's no option to quick scroll other than iOS feature which allows you to quick scroll at the top of the page by tapping the status bar.

However, if you would like your recently added songs to be shown by default up top just scroll down on that playlist and select the menu next to the search bar.

Once it opens tap on Recently added and you should be good to go.

Let me know how that goes 🙂

Has this been resolved yet? It is ridiculous that this is one of the only a few apps that doesn’t have this quick scroll feature.

Hey there @Moistme

Thank you for your post here in the Community.

To begin with, we have different ways to Sort and Filter your content and make it easier to go through your music. You can check it out, it might help.

Now, there is already an option to quick scroll. Just go to the playlist and scroll down a bit. An icon with two little arrows (Android) or a bar (iOS) should show up at the top right of the playlist. You can use that to quickly scroll up and down.

If you have any issues with it, make sure both your OS and Spotify app are up-to-date. If they are, try reinstalling Spotify and check if that makes a difference.

If that doesn't help, send over the make, model, and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're running.

Keep us in the loop!
