Rapid Battery Drain in Offline Mode

Hello,

I have an iPod Touch 5, and I frequently use the Spotify App in offline mode. Sometimes, when I leave the app open overnight (but not playing any music), the battery wil have drained from more than half-charged to almost dead. My iPod is always in airplane mode when this happens (wi-fi and Bluetooth off), and it only happens when I leave the Spotify app open. Please help shed some light on the issue.

It sounds like this might be the same bug as causing battery drain on the iPhone 5. Official bugs topic is here.
