Smart Shuffle keeps turning itself on

I assume this is my problem, although smart. Shuffle is still greyed out what happens.  This just started happening today, I didn’t change anything on my phone since yesterday.  here’s a Google doc with a series of screenshots of me selecting a song, hitting next, a random song played that’s not even on the playlist.  iOS 18.1, iPhone 14 Pro.  Started typing this and there’s no way to check the Spotify version without leaving this prompt and losing everything I typed, although it’s probably the latest version.  I’ve tried restarting my phone multiple times.
