this is an ongoing issue, it’s been fixed but this morning it wont update again.
Getting the exact same issue AGAIN!
In fact it’s happening almost daily, recently
played is either all over the place or it’s completely missing several songs and then suddenly it will be okay again.
Today it hasn’t updated for over 4 hours!
Mind has not updated since yesterday morning.
this is an upsetting.

Thanks for reaching out about this.
First up, it's well worth running a clean reinstall on your devices to get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble. This one is more thorough than the usual one.
If this doesn't do the trick, we suggest that you try restarting your devices and try again.

Hi @eni i just did it, but it did not do the trick.
it only updates when i listen to certain artist but not when I listen to a playlist with different artists. The others are still missing from my recently played artist since yesterday.

Could you let us know if this happens across devices or only on a specific one? Also, would you mind trying on a different one to check this?
In case the issue persists across all devices, we recommend trying with a different network, for example creating a hotspot on your phone and using that - if that's possible.

I always use my phone ( iphone Xr) with my data (4g) or wifi. It seems like this is an occurring issue. It was fixed 2 weeks ago but then again it starts not updating again.

I have the same issue.
Have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several
times today and it hasn’t worked, cleared cache, logged in and out, everything. Nothing has worked.
Edited to add I have also tried using Spotify on my mobile data and on WiFi, still not working.
Same for me. It's still not showing my last played songs since yesterday.

Mine stopped updating on Macbook Pro OSX for the last 24 days.
