Downloading liked songs crashes app

Iphone 8 Spotify app crashes if I set “liked songs” to download. The crash happens when the app is in background for about 1minute, every time - it’s unusable.

It’s not even downloading the songs at the time as it’s set not to download unless there’s wifi. I can’t tell it to stop downloading or get a prediction of how much storage would be used. 

Obviously I’ve reinstalled the app and found the same behaviour.

Can you send us the OS version your device is running? Also, the version of your Spotify app.
