Repeat Playlist option on iPadOS

I seem to be so inept that cannot find how to repeat playlists/songs on iPad.  I have it working fine on my iPhone (the options are right there in line with the play/pause button), but not on the iPad. Both Apps are up-to-date and devices are newest versions of each. I’m including a screen grab of my screen and would be happy for someone to explain where it is.

I should mention that the button that looks like the attached image does not turn shuffle off/on, it only restarts a shuffled list (i.e., if this is pressed, it restarts playlist with new shuffle arrangement).

I'm encountering the same issue. You're not inept -- the interface is either completely hiding this in some absurdly obscure way, or the option doesn't exist at all.
