Hello @ejvsr, thanks for posting!

Unfortunately, this feature has been taken down from the mobile apps, but here's an idea which suggesting this, you can leave your vote and comments in support there : )

There are of course 2 workarounds you can try:

  • Transfer the playback from the computer to the phone
  • Make a playlist with all the songs in the folder

Why was feature removed?? I used it daily on IOS!

Hey

This is the official response from the Spotify staff in the idea I've mentioned above

"We want to give you a bit more insight behind this decision. First, this feature had very low usage, and it took a lot of our resources to maintain.

Secondly, the teams behind playlists are looking at new ways to make them easier for you to manage. When we have more info around this we will definitely share it here in the Community.

We've passed all your feedback to the relevant teams. This status is still 'Not Right Now' but we'll continue to keep you updated on playlist changes here. Thanks everyone!"

Is there any update on this from Spotify please? I rejigged my flat playlists into folders of playlists, and now can't play them. Don't want to go through all of this again. Is moving to Apple Music a more stable, and better solution for this?

Absolutely ridiculous. Seriously considering moving to Apple Music after YEARS as a Spotify premium subscriber. Spotify-seriously - anything?
