Screen on iPhone goes completely black after connecting to spotify connect since ios9

Hi

since downloading ios9 for my iPhone whenever I connect to my Libratone speaker on spotify connect the spotify screen on my iPhone goes completely black and I have no access to spotify (although the track / playlist continues to play through the speaker). This didn't happen until I downloaded ios9 and connect works fine with the speaker and my iPad which is still on ios8. Does anyone else have this problem? Is it a iOS problem, connect problem (ie needed a to be updated for iOS 9) or a problem with the speaker and ios9?

any advice would be welcomed as I cannot use spotify connect properly now with my phone.

While I'm not sure if there's any confirmed issue, iOS 9 is pretty new and you might see some odd behaviors on your apps.

Keep in mind some bugs you find on the Spotify app might get fixed on a next update.

In the meantime, I'd recommend you a clean reinstallation.

This can fix a lot of issues or bugs found on the app.

Just follow these steps: 

1. On the home screen, tap and hold the Spotify icon until it shakes.
2. Tap the X symbol on the icon.
3. Hold the Home and Power buttons down together until the Apple logo appears.
4. Open the App Store then search for and install the Spotify app.

Keep in mind that a clean reinstall will delete all data stored by Spotify, so you'll need to sync your offline music again.
