Search for songs on iPad just hangs

I have a premium account and shortly after I signed up and downloaded the windows app and the iPad app, I was unable to get the  iPad search to work. I click on the search button and it just hangs. I can search for songs and build playlists from the windows app, and those playlists show up in my iPad app, but I cannot do the same directly from the iPad app itself.

That is a strange issue. 

Have you tried a clean reinstallation of the application?

Thx!  I thought I had tried that already but I guess not, because after reinstalling, it now works.

Reinstalling the application works for a while.....  Considering Rdio.

I have exactly the same problem - the Search window just shows a spinning dial.

Killed the app, same problem.

Rebooted the iPad, same problem

Only resolution was to delete the App and download again.

Same here. The reinstall only works for a while. 😞
