My Question or Issue

Selecting Song 1 from my iPhone playlist to play on my TV sound system normally works by touching the song to play on the phone screen BUT, sometimes touch does not select the next Song 2 from the Playlist or it may select Song 2 still plays Song 1. While Song 2 is selected and Song1 is still playing  it pauses Song1.

If I touch the play next song button |> it instantly plays the next song in my list, and the next and so on.

The issue is selecting songs to play by touching the song itself.  When it works it works great.

Ia this perhaps a server load issue during peak time because very late at night there is no issue.

Hey @Grakky,

Thanks for reaching out!

Does this behaviour occur only when you're using the mobile device as a remote via casting/ the Connect feature or when directly starting the playback from the TV app as well?

In order to pinpoint where the issue lies, I would first check if reinstalling the app on the TV itself would change anything. If not - I would also test with a different internet connection, e.g. a hotspot to see if that would make a difference.

In case the issue remains after this - see if the TV has any pending firmware updates. Apply them if any are available, unplug the TV from the power supply for 30 seconds to a minute and check the app behaviour one more time.

Keep us posted on how things go! We'll be on the lookout 🙂
