Share button is gone on now playing screen

My Question or Issue

For weeks now, the share button has been gone from my now playing screen. The only way to share songs to friends, to social media, etc, is using the 3 dots at the top right of the now playing screen. This is a hassle and is inconvenient when quickly trying to share a song to a friend. I have been in contact with SpotifyCares on Twitter and they were unable to help me with this issue. I have not seen anyone talk about this either and it seems like i’m the only one with this issue which is super frustrating. The two images included in this post are one from before this issue occurred (screenshot taken months ago), and a screenshot of the issue currently (screenshot taken today). I hope these images help you guys see what is wrong and if anyone has any solutions I would love to hear them.

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

We can't reproduce this behavior on our side. Since you mentioned you contacted Spotify Care through X, would you mind sharing with us the troubleshooting steps you followed with them so far? That way, we can avoid repeating any steps.

If you haven't yet, we suggest you log out and log in twice in a row onto your Spotify account. This could sound a little bit odd, but this way the system will force a resync of your account in general.

If the above doesn't do the trick, we'd like to gather some additional info. Please send us:

• The exact Spotify version you're running on your iPhone.
• Does this happen if you open a different account on your mobile device? You can ask for the account of a relative or a friend to open their account and check.
• Does this happen when playing some specific content? If yes, share the link to it with us.
