Big big win for music today..

It seems like after many people told spotify that having random as the default album playing mode was disgusting, it took Adèle telling them to make them change this awful "feature".

Finally the biggest music streaming platform has a bit of respect for music again, not too bad ..

I guess that's also a big big sign that this topic was never resolved before, and that the moderators at Spotify at treating us like stupid.

Big, big loss for users. Why should Adele get to force Spotify to remove features? If she wanted to force them to do it for her own album, fine. But all albums? That's a disgusting abuse of her influence and a cowardly failure from spotify to let her decide my user experience for me.

The artists put a lot of time and care in creating the track list for their albums, and by default any music provider should respect that choice and play the album in order.

You're still very much free to activate shuffle if you want to, but in no world should that be the default.

Users pay for a service and should have the option to consume how they want. You should have the option to listen in order by default and I should have the option to shuffle by default. Making it harder for users to listen the way they want is not a good thing.

They did not make it harder to listen music the way you want. The shuffle button is so easy to grab. It should just in no way be the default for everyone. There could be a option in the settings to make it the default if you want, but I don't think many would use it.
