Shuffle not working properly?

Shuffle not working properly?

Why is it that when I bring up an artist or playlist and hit shuffle play it only plays 1 song from either and then switches to music from my Queue instead of continuing the playlist or music from the same artist? This never used to happen and now it's friggin annoying and I see I'm not the only person who has this issue. Please fix this so I can go back to enjoying Spotify not despising it.

Hello, 

Can you explain how this works. I have made the connection according to your instructions. Does this mean I need do nothing else and my shuffling will be real from now on? Will it work independently of what device I use as long as I am signed in?

And you're not seeing any "How it works?" link??  What exactly are you seeing, then?

I have attached a screenshot. This is the page that writing.voyage/spotify takes me to. I follow the instructions and hit reload and the same page reappears. When checking for apps in my account it shows up but I am not sure how it works or whether it is working. Looking forward to figuring it out.

As long as you're seeing that page, it will never do anything.  The utility has to be able to see that you have an instance of the Spotify player open.  That can be the web player, the desktop player, or the mobile app.  But if one of those three are not open (and playing, if you're using the mobile app), then it will keep bringing you back to this screen.

I have tried many possible combinations (web player, desktop player and mobile app) while playing and I either get a page asking me to link the application to spotify by logging in (which I do) or the same page. I should note again that when I check my ‘apps’ in Spotify your app shows up so it seems to be connected and maybe it is working too but I am not sure nor can I find an instruction page.
