Shuffle only works once

My shuffle button only works once. It works the first time, but after it turns into a normal play button and only pauses and unpauses the song playing. I’ve tried turning the shuffle switch on and off and nothing happens.

This is so mind-bumbling annoying, if I didn’t want to shuffle my music I would have turned the shuffle switch off.

This is expected behavior. If you'd like to change song while using shuffle you can head to the Now playing view and click on arrow to the right (next) to change song.
