Shuffling my library only shuffles songs in the same range

When I have shuffle on and I click play on a song, the upcoming songs are all always in the same area. For instance, if it’s alphabetically and I play a song starting with M, it shuffles through L, M, and N songs only. If it’s ordered by date and I play my most recently added song, it only shuffles through songs I’ve added recently.

Weird! I’ve attached two photos to show you exactly what I mean. I guess the recently added one is a little harder to get but I’m sure I’ve explained it well enough.
