Shuffling on offline mode

Premium user here, usually download songs to listen offline while driving. Encountered a mild annoyance.
While connected to the internet, when I tap on any of my downloaded songs in the "songs" list it will play with shuffling turned on by default, that is what I want. However when I'm not connected to the internet when I tap on a downloaded song to play it shuffling is turned off by default and require an additional tap to turn on shuffle. Is there any way to change that in settings? Can't seem to find anything.
Not really a major problem, just something that I find annoying. As usually I will tap on a song and begin driving, only to realize 2 songs later that my songs are not set to shuffle but playing according to alphabetical order

I keep forgetting this every single time I go out on my daily walks and now when it's cold, I put on a lot of clothes. And where do I put my phone? The pocket of my hoodie of course 🙂 5 minutes in and I discover that shuffle is off and a full album has started... People must think I'm crazy as I start to fumble under my jacket in the middle of the street. Please Spotify, fix this, it can't be that hard? Winter isn't coming, it's already here!

I know that feeling, it really annoys the **bleep** out of me when I realise that shuffle is off halfway through my drive. I tried to DM them on twitter but all I got was a standard reply.

They don't seem to think that this is an issue.
