Size of offline songs vs. iTunes

Hi everybody,

in order not to have my iPhone too full (storage wise) I was wondering if a downloaded offline song of Spotify Premium is smaller than a song you have imported by iTunes on your iPhone.

If it is smaller I would download them via Spotify and delete them in iTunes.

@navid0808 That I'm aware, the lowest quality setting on spotify is 0.72 MB per minute per song, and the itunes standard quality is approximately 1MB per minute per song.

.m4a imports are technically the smallest version, but there are a lot of playback issues with importing that file type
