Skipping podcast quits out of Queue menu

Starting ~2 months ago, whenever I skip a podcast by swiping to the left from the queue menu in the app, the queue menu quits out as if I had pushed the down arrow in the top left. This makes it annoying to skip multiple podcasts consecutively as I have to reenter the queue every time and was not the behavior a few months ago so seems to be some kind of bug. The behavior seems specific to podcasts.

Device: iPhone XR
iOS version 16.1.1
Spotify App version 8.8.5.553
Steps to reproduce:
While playing a podcast, open queue by pushing bottom bar of app. Swipe left to skip to next podcast, problem encountered. Does not seem to occur when swiping right to access the previous podcast or for songs in general.

This issue is commonly related to an outdated version of the app or some damaged cache stored on your device from previous updates. In this case, to cover both scenarios, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This is often an overlooked step, but it’s more thorough than a quick one and can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

If the issue persists, would you mind checking on a different device (using your own account) to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out. This will give us a better look at the issue.
