Somehow created two different shows when working to add this months episode

Solved!

Somehow created two different shows when working to add this months episode

I did review the Guidelines

I’m a monthly podcaster working on a Mac Book Pro.

My operating system is Sonoma 14.0

  • In Previous Months I added new podcast episodes to my podcast show by using one of the following links

https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/dashboard/home

OR

https://podcasters.spotify.com

  • Now when I use those links the web pages look different then it did in previous months when I added new podcast episodes. I’m not sure if I answered a question while adding the episode that changed things for me, or if something changed about Spotify since last month. I will admit that I was tired when I was doing this. So I don't fully remember some things while working to put up my new episode.
  • Early on December 25, 2023 I used one of those two links shown above (both show the same content) and got a different web page. I did however follow the prompts to add a new podcast, the 28’th episode

  • When I was almost done adding all the information for my latest episode, the 28’th episode, I was prompted to setup a lot more information, as though I was setting up my podcast show for the first time. Since I could not add my episode without doing this, I did so.
  • The episode addition seemed to complete.  However nearly two days later  I still
  • have a problem.
    1. Only My previous  episodes, 1 -27)  shows up on my Macbook pro when I use the following link

https://open.spotify.com/show/2376cFlLoo0DhIpzMcK6nW

  1. b) If I look at the podcasts the Overcast app shows on my iphone, I only see episodes added previously . There are 27 of them.

  1. c) The only way I see my new episode, the 28th episode, is by using the following link. However when I do that the app only shows the 28th episode. It does not show the previous 27 episodes

Also I can’t get any analytics there. I think that means nobody is seeing that episode.

https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/dashboard/episodes

* Clearly the 28’th episode is not linked to the first 27 episodes * I can see I've somehow setup a new show

  • I wonder if this has something to do with an RSS feed. I can’t recall how I answered the app’s question about adding an RSS feed. But I recall there was something about it. (I was half awake!)

How can I go back to getting my original 27 episodes? I can then once more add my 28'th episode if I can do that

Country United States

Device

(iPhone 8, Macbook Pro )

Operating System

Sanoma

My Question or Issue

I somehow setup a new podcast while trying to add my 28'th monthly episode. Now I have either episodes 1-27 or episode 28

I just found this article - Switching your podcast's hosting to Spotify for Podcasters - I wonder if that is what I somehow did with episode 28. I'm nervous about trying to import all the first 27 episodes because my listeners might not be able to find me.
