Song crackles while playing through Bluetooth on speaker

Hi I'm new to the community but has been a Spotify premium user for a number of years. Recently purchased a wireless/Bluetooth compatible speaker, I tried to use my phone (both iPhone 5s and 7) to play my songs, through bluetooth. However it seems to crackle with the bass. This problem does not happen when I use a wire to play through the same speaker, or play it through my Mac's Spotify on the same speaker via bluetooth. I've transferred my old phones data comepletely to my new phone and problem still continues. What should I do?
Most (maybe even all cause some crackles are minor) songs crackle with the base and it's really bothering, what should I do?

MIne does this too. At first it didn't play at all, I read that you might have to close Spotify and re-open, after which I DID have sound but it was all crackle-y. My iTunes plays just fine, so it's not the speakers, but the connection w/ Spotify. What's up?
