Song won’t play on iPhone, but will on iPad

My Question or Issue

Created a playlist including a particular song that I’ve listened to on Spotify for years. When I attempt to play from my phone it does nothing, but plays immediately when I access the same playlist from my iPad. Both machines are current on software & I’ve tried a hard reset of phone with no luck. Why cant my phone play this song?
