Songs I own Won't Play in App

I made a playlist of songs I own in itunes and then imported it into spotify on the computer. All the songs play just fine on the deskop spotify but when i go into the app on my iphone, (i have a premium account) not all of them play. The songs I can't play are grayed out. When i click on one, a message pops up that says "Song no downloaded - If you own the song, you can sync it from your computer." I then clicked "learn more" and followed the directions - both devices are on wifi and i clicked the button to make the playlist available offline on both devices. Even then, i still can't get the grayed out songs to play. Please help!

My end goal is to be able to make a hybrid playlist of my songs and spotiy's songs but i need to make mine work in the app first.
