Songs randomly start playing on iOS

For some time now, Spotify has been randomly playing songs when left open, and sitting on my iHome. Even when I shut off the iHome I can still see the timer on the song going, so I end up having to close out the app completely if I don't want it to play. Is there any fix for this?

@itsjimmay That must be the Spotify Connect that's being activated. You might want to sign out from other devices below:


Sign Out Everywhere:
You can sign out your Spotify Account from all devices by following the simple steps below:
1) Go to your Spotify Account & Login
Click here: https://www.spotify.com/sg-en/account/overview/
2) At the right side of the page you will see this:
Sign out everywhere
Sign out wherever you have Spotify open, including the web, mobile, desktop or any other devices.
3) Click on the button that says: “Sign out Everywhere”
4) Profit!
