Let me start this off by saying that I'm in my first month of premium use and I am NOT impressed. I was attracted to premium because of the offline mode. I have a limited data plan on my iphone 4 so I can't afford to use spotify online unless I'm in a wifi zone.
Anyways, I made a big playlist the other day and when I try to sync these songs, it just says "1 out of 60 synced" when I leave it up there, keep in mind that there are 178 songs in this playlist. I left it for 15 minutes and guess what?! 1 out of 60. I am in wifi, and I have a good connection.
After sifting through the pile of bull**bleep** that is the spotify "support" page, I came to the conclusion that there is no such thing as spotify customer support, or if there is it's just a fancy term for a cluster of 25-50 extremely broad FAQ answers none of which came close to addressing or answering my problem, which after looking through the community board seems to be really common among iOS users. I mean its not like that many people use apple products right?
So it seems to me based on what I read that this is a poersistent and remaining problem, am I correct? I'll be patient since this month is paid for, but unless I figure out how to completely fix this problem there is zero chance I will ever use this service again, and beyond that I will go through lengths to make sure none of my friends or family use it. I mean what the **bleep** kind of company charges people 120 bucks a year for a service that has abso-**bleep**ing-lutely zero customer service?!
Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂
Unfortunately, tracks synching incredibly slowly is a known bug with the iOS application, outlined in this bug post.

Hi there - first please don't swear (even if it is filtered).
Secondly, you can get official support via the Support Form.
Now, onto your issue. It seems that this is a common issue with the iPhone 4 device - with a number of people suffering.
Unfortunately, there is no fix. I would suggest however, that you try uninstalling and then installing the app, and also trying to change the download quality if possible.
It is unlikely to fix the issue, however it may 🙂

Sorry for swearing, yes I did both these things and nothing worked. I am just going to stop using premium and tell my friends (most of whom warned me against using spotify) that they shouldn't use it. Sorry, it's not your fault you work for a bad company, have a good one!
We don't work for Spotify 😉

We help a good company 🙂
Try downloading the spotify for 4ios app from app store.
I had the same problem happen to me before on my mobile phone. You want need to do a clean install in which you are going to delete the Spotify App. Next, reboot your mobile phone. Then reinstall Spotify and resync everything. This should solve your issue. It has solved my issue. The max amount of tracks you should be able to sync is over 3,000 tracks. Good luck!
How do i get a refund because mines does the same....not worth my 10$ if the songs wont even sync

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂
All requests for refunds need to go through the customer services team directly using the online contact form 😉
If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

I love Spotify! Really
I am however aggrevated that my once synced tracks from my laptop (of my own work and recordings of things not available commercially) are now no longer available on my iPhone and I can't resync them. There used to be a sync button. I've tried everything listed in these forums. Iphone 5
What to do??
Thanks y'all
Hi. Do you have a premium subscription?
Awesome, isn't it 🙂
What iOS and spotify versions do you have?
So let's make sure I understand..........when you follow the steps in the FAQ, you don't see the "available offline" switch? Does you iphone show under "devices" in the desktop client?
Just reinstall the spotify app on your iphone, worked for me, the app is now syncing with charm 🙂
Thank You! my issue has just been solved upon reading your post. I have been feeling bummed to find that the spotify app in my iphone is not able to sync despite repeated logging out and logging back in. All playlist were gone and I couldn't listen to my fav music offline. I sent email to spotify support group which they have replied twice but none seemed to know what to do. They just gave recommendation based on generic errors that people may find.
Your post has made my day!!!! I followed your instruction and so happy to get all my play list back so I can listen offline...Heaps of thanks to you!!!
Are offline playlists supposed to work in the premium trial?
Hi,
I had the same exact problem. I have an iphone 4s and I had to download the last IOS and redownload the Spotify appt. This solved the problem for me. I know is a pain in the neck but if you do this you'll be able to finally enjoy your music. 🙂
Good Luck!
HI, i've been trying to download my playlists to offline mode for a while now. I am a little frustrated, but don't worry i still love spotify. I just need some help. I have enough storage, i have been over the same wifi as my computer, bascially done everything that has been stated. But my playlists have not and will not download. What do i do? I have a big problem with going over my monthly data every month so i would love to have my playlists downloaded!
