Sonos Connect Problem: song displays but doesn't play

In th eSpotify app, when I'm connected to my Sonos speaker, the chosen song on Spotify displays but doesn't play. When I hit the Play triangle, the song skips to the next one and again doesn't play. Itf I hit the Play triange, it skips to the next. 

 

If I am going through Sonos, it works.

Hi, I have the same problem. Since few days I can't play music from my Sonos speakers. My Spotify app isn't working correctly too. Very often I see information that app is offline (error code 4). Do you have any suggestions?

I can play Spotify from my Sonos speaker but only by opening the Sonos app and picking Spotify as source (the old way of doing it). The promise of Spotify Connect (open Spotify, select the Sonos speaker as a device withouthaving to open the Sonos app) is broken.

Even playing from within the Sonos app is no longer working for me. I get an error message that the 'file is not found'. Come on Spotify and Sonos, play nice with each other, we like both of you and like you even more when you work well together.
