Spotify App Control no longer working in my Pioneer Car Audio Headunit

My Question or Issue

I have a Pionner AVH-X7800BT audio head unit in my car that comes with 

Spotify App Control®.

I used to play Spotify directly from the head unit selecting Spotify as source.

Since last update, I cannot longer manage my Spotify from the headunit.

The weird thing is that I can listen Spotify if I select Bluetooth as source but I have to control Spotify from my cell phone and it's not confortable (and very distractive) while driving.

I'm thinking that it had to do with the update and you should look into seeing wether it does and how you can get it back. In the meantime I say use the bluetooth or get an aux cord. Hope this helps 🙂

I'm having the same issue after only updating Ios to 11.4.1, did you found anything to fix it?

Could you tell us what happens when you try to open Spotify and play music from the head unit? Can you log in? If you could get back to us with some screenshots or pictures, that would be great too.
