Spotify App Update with Streamlined Tab?

My Question or Issue

On May 27 I received an email from Spotify telling me to try out the new Spotify app.  The email featured a streamlined tab interface as well as stremlined search (pics attached).  However when I click the email to check it out (as instructed) I don't see any of the new features (e.g. streamlined tab, etc.).  I also tried to update the app, but the old interface still shows up (not like the images in the email).

How do I get these new features?
