Spotify Connect doesn't work as it used to do

Hey Guys,

I just noticed that since 3.4.0 I can't switch songs via iPhone using the Control Center, insted I have to open up the Spotify app completly.

The new green as awfull as well.. but thats just my 2 cents ^^

It works for me.

Can you try restarting your phone to see if that helps?

already tried twice, didn't help unfortunately.

Open up the app switcher and close out of all the apps that are shown.

Does that help out at all? That usually fixes temporary problems that are similar to this.

Control Center doesn't show the playing song (playing on my Mac right now) even if I am in the Spotify app.

Are you able to switch songs from control center when Spotify is playing on your phone?

If you have Spotify playing on your computer then it won't show in control center on your phone. You will have to open up the app to control music on your computer. 

This is because iOS does not show anything on the control center unless an app is outputing audio. The Spotify app is not outputing audio, it only shows what is playing on your computer.

Does that make sense?

It definitely does, but it worked before the last Spotify update OR the iOS 8.3 patch. was on 8.1.3 before. 

Will kinda miss that 😕 but thanks for the effort and your help!
