Spotify Disconnects While Connected through Bluetooth to UE Megaboom on Ipad2

Hi Everyone,

My spotify keeps disconnecting from my UE Megaboom when I try and listen to music on My Apple Ipad2. Happens very intermittently but basically as i am listening to a song it will pause and then if I leave it close down the app. Abit like it crashes. 

I am currently Running iOS 9.3.5 which is up to date and I have 7.9GB of space available. I have tested the bluetooth speaker on another device and could not fault it. I do have a logitech bluetooth keyboard connected to my Ipad but even when I disconnect this I am still getting the same problem. 

Any thoughts?

Does this happen only while you are using Spotify.

Yes, Only when using spotify. all other apps work fine with bluetooth.
