Spotify Mobile will only sync certain local files

Spotify Mobile will only sync certain local files

I just downloaded an album off iTunes that I want to listen to on Spotify, but only 1 of the 26 songs will actually play on Spotify Mobile. All of the songs will play on Spotify on my computer, but not on my iPod Touch.

I've reinstalled Spotify on both my computer and iPoud Touch, and it still isn't working.

Do you see any error messages or other strangeness when you sync the playlist? Do you have over 1GB free space on your touch?

No error messages, and I currently have 9 GB of memory available on my Touch.

And you're not hitting the 3,333 offline track limit? The ipod shows under devices in the desktop client? What actually happens if you touch the available offline switch on your ipod in the playlist view? Do you see the download arrows and progress indicators?

Didn't hit the 3333 song limit. The iPod isn't showing up under devices, and when I hit the switch on my iPod it just downloaded the 1 song of the 26.

The track it downloaded is probably available on spotify. To synch local files, you need to follow the instructions for the iphone here and your ipod needs to appear under devices.

Temporarily disable any firewalls, antivirus and other security software on your PC and make sure that UPnP is enabled in your wireless router. Power-cycle the ipod and it should now appear under devices and synching should work.
