Spotify Not Playing Selected Playlist Correctly

Spotify Not Playing Selected Playlist Correctly

I’ve had a problem with Spotify on both my desktop and mobile apps. When I pick a playlist and hit the green "PLAY" button, the first song plays fine, but the next songs come from an another playlist. Even when I add songs manually to the queue, it still plays the wrong song from the other playlist.

My Question or Issue

I’ve had a problem with Spotify on both my desktop and mobile app. When I pick a playlist and hit the green "PLAY" button, the first song plays fine, but the next songs come from an another/previous playlist. Even when I add songs manually to the queue, it still plays the wrong song from the other playlist. Restarting the app and rebooting the device doesn’t help.

How can this issue be resolved? I’ve been dealing with it for several days now, and it’s becoming extremely annoying!

Hey @Glafira,

Thanks for reaching out!

Could you send us a screenshot/ video recording of how your queue looks like when this happens?
And to start some troubleshooting here - see if removing your cached data would make a difference.
In case the issue persists, you can also try going through the steps for a complete clean reinstall of the app as shown here.

Note: Performing either of these actions will remove any content downloaded for offline listening. It will re-download the next time you open the app, depending on your data settings.

Hope this helps! We'll be on the lookout for your reply 🙂
