Spotify Now interface/function change?

What happened to Spotify now?

Up until a day or so ago, in Spotify now you could scroll vertically throughout sequential periods of the day and scroll horizontally to view corresponding playlists. That was so great! A day or so ago that seemed to change for the worse so that Spotify Now only lists recommended playlists, popular playlists, and different genres. That is about as useful as iTunes circa 2003. i.e., not useful.

Am I missing something? Is this going to change back?

Spotify is always tweaking their service and testing new things to ensure the best possible experience for their users.

It could just be they are testing out a new layout for it.
