Spotify Offline and I can't Login

My Question or Issue

Spotify was offline and wouldn't connect even though I had internet connection on my phone.  I logged off and tried to log in again (I am logged in through facebook).  When I click "Continue with Facebook" and continue to Facebook.com.  I get the message on Facebook.com "You previously logged in to Spotify with Facebook.  Would you like to continue?"  I choose Continue.  I'm directed to back to the spotify app and I get the "Login Failed.  Could not connect to Facebook." message.

I try instead to click "Log In" on the spotify app.  I type in my facebook email and password and I get the message under the password text box "You're offline.  Check your connection and try again."  

Other information:

I have an internet connection on safari and every other app.

I have a second phone where I can login to Spotify no problem.

I am at a loss for what I should do.

Hope you're doing great!

Please try to go to www.fb.com and log out of any Facebook account there, clear the caches and make sure you're not in incognito while doing all of this.

Try to log in again.

If that doesn't help could you try with another network connection or another account?

Maybe a clean reinstall would help too.
