Spotify Premium - Songs pause then sound like a scratched cd

My Question or Issue

I listen to my playlists while connected to wifi, not connected to wifi, downloaded and not downloaded and experience the same issue: Songs pause for a moment, then start to sound like a scratched CD, skipping and having severe audio issues. It was happening only now and then, I would shut down the app and re-start and it would seem to be fixed for a day or two. Now it is non-stop.

I deleted the app, cleared cache, removed downloaded playlists....everything! Any help is appreciated!

Thanks for reaching out to the community.

Could you send us the exact Spotify version you're using? Also, have you noticed if this happens when you use Spotify with a specific audio output (e.g. headphones, speakers, etc)?

In the meantime, try using your Spotify account on a different device (preferably iPhone if possible) to see if it behaves the same.

Sorry to hear you're running into the same issue.

Just to confirm, have you tried using multiple sound outputs? Also, does the same happen on other devices you use?

I have the same issue, both with bluetooth headset and normal  headset on iphone 7. 

My version of spotity is 8.4.62.490
