Spotify Session kicking me and my gf

My Question or Issue

 Everytime me and my gf make a spotify session, the app automatically kicks each one of us. Even when we are not touching anything, it says that one party left the session. We tried switching. Me as host or her as host but still the same problem. Please fix this, always happening. We’ve tries restarting and reinstalling. This is one of our bonding time before we sleep or when we work while we are apart. It gets so annoying and we cant enjoy.

Great troubleshooting steps so far.

Would you mind logging out and then logging back in to your devices twice in a row? We know it sounds odd, but it helps trigger a sync between your accounts and devices. 

If this doesn't do the trick, could you give a different internet connection a try to see if the same happens? 

Lastly, we'd recommend checking if the OS of your devices is up to date.
