My Question or Issue

Spotify app takes a long time to open up. Hanging on the Load screen logo and other laggy behaviour. This issue/bug is reproducible across app versions and iOS devices. Common denominator is Car Play, happens after usage. Restarting, re-installing or logging out does not solve the issue. Not acceptable that a new phone cannot handle the spotify app.

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community! It sounds like you've tried a couple of things already, but let's try some more troubleshooting.
 

It might be a good idea to try clearing your cache to remove any old files that might be causing issues and check your battery saving features. Make sure also that you remove any apps or services that Spotify may be connected with or affected by. 


If you haven't tried yet, could you try with a different Wi-Fi network to see if it makes any difference? In case you don't have another available, you can ask a friend or a family member to start a hotspot and use that network to test it.

 

In case the issue persists, could you send over a quick video where we can take a better look at this behavior?
