My Question or Issue

Spotify keeps crashing when I open the song menu of the specific song “No Idea” by Don Toliver, but when I open the song menu for every other song (I think), it works just fine. It might be an issue with my device since I tried replicating the same thing on another device and spotify didn’t crash.

Hey there @Bamper,

Welcome to the Community!

We tried on our end, but couldn't replicate this behavior with the song you mentioned. If the issue doesn't persist on multiple devices and with other songs, then there's probably an issue with this specific one just on your iPhone.

Could you remove the song from your playlist then add it again and do a quick log out > log in to see if that'll change anything?

Let us know how it goes 🙂

Hi, your solution didn’t fix anything, but I think it might be related to the video of the song because my spotify doesn’t crash for a few seconds until it tries to load it and then it crashes. Any idea on how to fix that?

Hey @Bamper,

Thank you for keeping in contact.

Since the stored cache may be damaged and affect the proper behavior of the app, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This process also ensures you're running the latest version available.

If the issue persists, could you have someone log in with their account on your device - such as a friend or a family member, to see if the issue persists? This will help us understand if it could be account-related or not.

We'll be on the lookout.
