Spotify does not start on iPhone 4S after latest update

Hello, I have been unable to open Spotify on my phone after installing the August 10th update. More specifically, the loading screen comes up, lingers for about 30-40 seconds and then shuttles me back to the dashboard. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app as well as restarted my phone. The problem persists. Please advise.

I have the same problem, worked around it by loading the Spotify app before connecting to my bluetooth speaker, reproduced the issue when connecting then loading. I have an iPhone 4.

I'll try that right now.

 

Edit: It worked. I guess that will have to do for now. Obviously not a real long-term solution, but that's something I will contact Spotify about. Thanks very much for your help!
