Spotify in ios 3

Spotify in ios 3

I'm using spotify on a 1st gen iPod touch running ios 3.1.2 (not jailbroken) and it sortof works (a little buggy) but my already existing playlists aren't showing up, however I can still create new ones but they only exist on my iPod then. Is there anyway to fix this?

Hey @AnakingUniverse, welcome to the community.

Hope you’re doing great!

Keep in mind that the requirements for Spotify to work properly on your device, your device should be an iPod Touch 5th generation or higher, with 250MB free space, and iOS 10 or higher.

Unfortunately, since you don’t meet those requirements - you’d need the Spotify app on a device that supports it, for your playlists to stay.

Another option is to recover deleted playlists following these steps:

  1. Log in to your account page.
  2. Click Recover playlists in the menu on the left.
  3. Click RESTORE by the playlist you want to recover.
  4. Open Spotify and find the restored playlist at the bottom of your playlist collection.

You can also learn more about the system requirements here.

I hope this helps 🙂
