Spotify not playing music on iPhone when pressing play/not showing on Lock Screen.

My Question or Issue

on my iPhone 12 pro max, Spotify won’t play when hitting the play button. I also have no Lock Screen widget to play or pause. The app does not even say a song is playing. Deleting and reinstalling helps until I close the app then I must redo the process. Thanks!

We suggest that you perform a clean reinstall. This step will clean the cache and corrupted files from previous installations that can cause issues.

It would also be great if you can try with another internet connection to see if the issue persist?
